The Asher Place Senior Residence

The Asher Place Seniors Residence is not a retirement or nursing home.

Asher Place Seniors Residence was built to accommodate seniors entering into the independent living stage of life. These seniors are mobile. They choose to cook their own meals and maintain their own residence. They want to be socially involved with people of their own age group. They seek security through living together and do not want the up-keep of a home, or yard. They commonly travel and want their belongings and residence to be secure, when they do so, Asher Place as a "gated community" fills that requirement.

The complex is stratified & owners having reached the legal age required by provincial law are allowed. The strata corporation bylaws however require that one of either the occupant or the occupants spouse who live in a strata unit, must be age 55 or older. There is also a pet bylaw in place and no pets are allowed.

The complex is comprised of 51 suites in three apartment blocks and 28 townhouse condo units.
